currently creating across written, visual and digital formats.
Writer. Curator. Image Maker. Storyteller.
Saint James is a Harlem-based artist & curator practicing across poetry, sculpture, film & digital canvases. He focuses his offerings on spirituality and diasporic connections across time to channel ancestral confidence for the collective.
Born in Atlanta, Georgia into a migration loop of New Yorkers, Bostonians & West Indians by way of Barbados, Saint's work draws on the archives, testimonial narratives and lived experiences to explore the kaleidoscopic yet uniquely singular nature of one's being.
More on his journey in Voyage Atlanta.
Saint's most recent offering, the Tapestry Mirrors, is "Face 1" of a two-part visual project intended to cultivate the consciousness of a higher self within Harlem's local and global community.
To come: The Letter P, his debut collection of poems, expected Early 2027.
